Cube mineral earrings hong kong lapis lazuli

I thought my first post should be about my first craft craze in Hong Kong: making earrings!
I don’t know where it actually came from, most probably from souvenirs of my great friend Zabo creating earrings and pendants when we were younger.
So there I was, in a new city looking for craft supplies. After some research on the internet, I ended up in the area of Sham Shui Po. This is literally a craft lover’s heaven!
In particular for beads and jewellery accessories, head to Yu Chau Street between KweiLin Street and Nam Cheong Street. This is easily accessible from MTR exits A or C.
Once there, you will find tons of pretty beads from Swarowski cristal, to wood, plastic or minerals.
I really love mineral beads and I have found a shop that sells a large variety of minerals such as lapis lazuli used for my cube earrings. It is located 237 Ki Lung Street close to Nam Cheong Street. I do not have the name of the shop. I’ll ask for their name card next time I visit.

For the accessories (earwire, headpins, eyepins…) the best tip I can give you is to go to a nice shop called ARC (Accessory Republic Company) located Shop C, G/F, 94 Pei Ho Street. Go up the stairs to find all the accessories.
